Tusa P.C. is currently investigating PHH Mortgage, a mortgage loan servicer for banks, and whether PHH Mortgage added "Recording Fees" to payoff statements and the total amount it stated was necessary to repay co-op mortgage loans, when PHH did not perform any recording.   If PHH Mortgage provided a payoff statement that included Recording Fees for repayment of a co-op loan,  please contact us to discuss your experiences.
