Mariner Finance

Status:  Investigation

Tusa P.C. is investigating Mariner Finance, LLC for potentially deceptive and unlawful loan practices.  In August 2022, five State Attorneys General and the District of Columbia sued Mariner Finance for violating the federal Truth in Lending Act and state deceptive practice and consumer protection statues.  Among other things, the Attorneys General alleged that Mariner Finance added expensive insurance products and fees to loans that were not properly disclosed, approved or warranted.  If you have been a victim of these or similar practices by Mariner Finance during the past four years, please contact us to learn more.
