The plaintiffs allege that Banco Popular charged the overdraft fees without customer approval and manufactured overdraft charges by re-ordering of withdrawals from highest-to-lowest amounts. The case also claims that Banco Popular charges interest on overdraft fee loans in excess of the highest interest rates permitted by New York usury laws.
