NCO Financial Systems TCPA Litigation

Case Name:   Baranksi v. NCO Financial Systems, Inc.
Court:             United Stated District Court
                        for the Eastern District of New York
Status:            Pending / Investigation

  • This case that alleged that NCO Financial makes unauthorized calls to consumers' cellular telephone calls in violation of the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TPCA) and leaves automated messages on consumers' home or cellular telephones in violation of the New York General Business Law.  The case was filed as a putative class action in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
  • Tusa P.C. is currently investigating similar conduct that harmed other New York consumers and debtors.  If you received a telephone call from NCO Financial to your cellular telephone, or NCO left an automated message on your home telephone located in New York,  please contact us to discuss your experiences.  Tusa P.C. is separately investigating the manner in which NCO Financial collects debts that are not owed in whole or part, and hires law firms to sue consumers and debtors in the New York State courts.
